Sanders played in the NFL for 14 seasons, suiting up for the Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. He was a two-time Super Bowl champion, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, and a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

In addition to his success on the gridiron, Sanders also pursued a career in Major League Baseball. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 30th round of the 1988 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 1989. Sanders went on to play for several teams in the league, including the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He was known for his speed and defensive prowess in the outfield, winning the Gold Glove Award for his outstanding play.
